Chiropractic is a form of healing that addresses the root cause of a health concern. It is an inherently different approach from allopathic medicine, which uses drugs to mask the symptoms of disease.
I’ve had the privilege to work with both humans and animals, specifically, cats, dogs and horses. I’ve also been inspired by the healing I have experienced and witnessed working with the Biomat.
Chiropractic Care for Humans
During a 30-minute session, clients receive gentle touches along their spine to educate the brain and nervous system to release stress patterns that interfere with their body’s natural ability to heal. Communication is restored between brain and body so self-healing can occur.The communication system of the body (the nervous system) is important because it controls every function of the body.
Clients notice deeper connection with themselves and increased awareness of how their body is working to make positive changes. Other signs of greater health are increased range of motion, more ease and relaxation in the body, higher functioning immune system, greater ability to deal with the challenges of life.
Chiropractic for Animals
Animals experience stress too. During a session I work to make a connection with your pet. Once rapport is established I make gentle touches along the spine, feet and flanks of your cat or dog to create greater connection between brain and body. As communication in the nervous system is enhanced the body can do what it inherently knows how to do – heal itself. Signs of increased health are stretching, yawning, relaxing as the healing unfolds.
My care for horses is similar to cats and dogs. The signs of increased health will show up as yawning, stretching, shaking, big breaths, whinnying, snorting etc.
Biomat Session
The biomat is is an FDA registered medical device.
It is a large cloth mat filled with amethyst and tourmaline crystals. The crystals supercharge the effectiveness of far-infrared wavelengths and create negative ions that heal the body while you relax.
